Eustream is prepared to put the Slovak-Hungarian pipeline into test operation. Company filled the pipeline with gas and prepared the transmission system for the flow test. All systems have been checked and adjusted in order to enable immediate start of the transmission.

Slovak-Hungarian pipeline has strategic importance for both countries. It is a tool to strengthen the energy security in Central Europe. At the same time, it ensures diversification of gas routes in the North-South direction.
After the launch of the new Slovak-Hungarian gas pipeline interconnection, Slovakia will have access to the potential gas sources in Southern Europe. Hungary will get access to the Western European gas networks and new opportunities for alternative gas supplies to the country.
