Vojany-Užhorod pipeline was put into commercial operation

High representative of the European union Klaus-Dieter Borchardt together with Slovak PM Robert Fico and Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk inaugurated Vojany-Uzhorod pipeline. Symbolic turning the valve for the first time in history started reverse gas flow from Slovakia to Ukraine.

Vojany-Uzhorod pipeline will transport to Ukraine 10 bcm of natural gas per year (27 mcm/day). Mentioned volume is possible from the begining of September on interruptible base and from March 1, 2015 on firm.

Minimal guarantied volume from October 1, 2014 will be 6,4 bcm/year (17,6 mcm/day).

The full capacity of 10 bcm/year (or 27 mcm/day) were booked by Eustream´s customers until the end of 2019.

The investment is realized entirely from own resources of Eustream. Company didn´t apply for subsidy neither from Slovak republic, nor from European union.All News
