Settlement of the network user's comment to the Operating Oder draft
During the consultation, eustream, a.s. received a comment from a network user regarding the change of the point 4.2.9 of the Operating Order. The network user proposed that it should be possible to request the allocation of annual transmission capacity more than 6 months in advance, which would increase flexibility in submitting requests for the allocation of annual transmission capacity at the interconnection point to/from third countries and at the domestic entry/exit point.
Eustream positively assessed the proposal and incorporated it into the changes to the Operating Order as follows:
In the current wording of the last bullet point of point 4.2.9, it states:
“six (6) months at the earliest and not later than one (1) Business Day before the commencement of the required Capacity, in case of monthly or annual Capacities.”
The proposed change separates the deadlines for monthly and annual transmission capacities:
Monthly transmission capacities: the deadlines remain unchanged.
Annual transmission capacities: the condition “six (6) months at the earliest and” is removed, allowing applications to be submitted with a longer lead time.
The new wording of 2 bullet points in point 4.2.9 after incorporating the comment:
- six (6) months at the earliest and not later than one (1) Business Day before the commencement of the required Capacity, in case of monthly Capacities.
- not later than one (1) Business Day before the commencement of the required Capacity, in case of annual Capacities.
